Contestants are put through a regimen that they are put through by Chris Powell (The 650-Pound Virgin) and given the right tools to be able to lose the weight and keep it off. In a society of overweight people, “Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition” is the chance of a life time of all the 8 contestants competing to see if they can lose the weight in time to win. As each week goes by viewers can learn what techniques Chris uses to help the overweight contestants to make sure that they feel good about themselves and push toward their goals.
